beautiful book leather bound with gold colored pressing in spine, book is in good condition for its age, does not appear to have water damage, the corner of the leading edge of the hardback is frayed. This book has a lot of character, including shorthand notes on some of the beginning pages and a calligraphy practice later on in the middle of the book other than that it is complete readable and in good condition! (Sellers note, short hand is a outdated abbreviated form of note-taking in cursive)
