This is an 1890 Norwegian Pictorial Family Bible, published in Philadelphia by A.J. Holman & Co., featuring illustrations by Gustave Doré. While English versions of late 19th-century Holman family Bibles are incredibly common and often sit at lower prices, the Norwegian language edition printed for Scandinavian immigrants in America is harder to find. the spine is intact and the photo holders in back of Bible are unused. There is one glossary page ripped in back and the copyright right pages in front are lose, otherwise the entire Bible and scriptures themselves are all very much intact and not lose. It has a leather body with gold flake inscription on front, back, and spine. The gold flake is still very good on all the outside and inner inscription page. Bible is an 1890 edition.
