Here is the Volume 1 Harris County Heritage Society Cook Book, published in 1964. Hard bound. This is a community cookbook featuring recipes from 112 women with well-known Houston pedigrees. Title: Harris County Heritage Society 1954 Cook Book Location: Houston, Texas Content: Features historical stories and recipes, including dishes for oysters, crab, whole fish, wild game, and various fruit and nut desserts. See photos for condition. There are water stains at the top and bottom & splash stains on the top of the paper. It has yellowed with time. There is wear to the binding but it holds well. It is still in very usable condition especially for any history buffs.
