Rare Antique 1885 Miniature Book Living Waters E.P. Dutton Victorian Devotional
Up for sale is a very scarce, genuine late-Victorian miniature Christian devotional titled “Living Waters.”. The book boasts a striking red cloth cover heavily decorated with Victorian Japonism-style silver gilt details on the front and the classic E.P. Dutton “EPD” monogram stamp on the reverse.
Vintage “When We Were Very Young” A.A. Milne Hardcover Dust Jacket Book Club Ed.
[ 1] It was first published in 1924, and it was illustrated by E. H. Shepard. Several of the verses were set to music by Harold Fraser-Simson. [ 2] In one of the illustrations of “Teddy Bear”, Winnie-the-Pooh is shown wearing a shirt which was later coloured red when reproduced on a recording produced by Stephen Slesinger.
