Lot of 18 antique 1800s-1930s books beautiful bindings most of which are leather.. Varying degrees of edgewear, rubbing, markings, foxing, water stains, and tears/chips. One has a small number of loose pages. Good condition bindings and are Suitable for decoration or as additions to your collection. The front boards are a mix of pebble texture, painted and leather. please see photos for sizes. The books are Dutch German and French I believe and will look great on your shelf. 255 numbered pages Binding condition: Hinges firm. Bumping to corners and ends. Spine and the edges of the boards yellowed. Moderate rubbing and scuffing as well as light staining throughout. Page condition: Inscriptions on front pastedown and front flyleaf as well as faded scribbles on the back of the final page. Minor tanning and moderate staining throughout. Some pages are scribbled on, though none of these scribbles affect the text. Dimensions: Length: 6 in. Width: 0.75 in. Height: 8.25 in.
