The foreword by the management of the event is a fervid thank you to the historic achievements of the German people and inspiration for the participants of the pageant promising a “great future of the eternal Germany.” Following the foreword is a detailed description of all participants in the parade starting with the group carrying the flags and banners of the “movement” and the art. The parade is partitioned into the historical German eras starting with the Germanic time B.C. followed by the Romanic, then Gothic and Renaissance, the Baroque, the Classic era, Romanticism and finally the contemporaneous representatives. Each of the sections is further partitioned showing details of the respective time, e.g. a Germanic ship, the symbol of the sun, etc., with detailed drawings of the respective participants.The parade concludes with a battalion of the army featuring marching blocks of the SA, the NSKK (National socialist Motor Corps, the SS, political leaders and a battalion of the SS with rifles. Contains a stylized depiction of a Swastika on front free endpaper, a standard with streamer reading “Deutschland erwache (Germany awaken)” and Swastika and eagle, a listing of the musical renderings by the respective parade units and a map indicating the course of the parade through Munich.
