Original Leaf from the 1st Ed. of the 1611 King James Bible Printed Before 1650
This original leaf from the first edition of the 1611 King James Bible printed before 1650 (page/leaf approx. 16″x11″) from Isaiah was aquired over a decade ago from Greatsite.com (The Bible Museum). It has been stored behind glass in a dark (without sunlight) finished basement on display ever since. The Leaf offered here is from the Old Testament (Isaiah 2:12 – Isaiah 5:8), it is in good condition overall. The leaf is intact and fully readable, but with light stains and markings as seen in the pictures. Included also is the 4 page booklet that came with this Bible leaf as seen in pictures 4 – 9 and the “Affidavit of Originality” as seen in picture 10. This piece is a unique and valuable addition to any collection. Thanks for looking.
